Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (804) 204-9124. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 43 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Henrico is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Henrico follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Excellent and professional customer service. I had undercarriage damage from running over a concrete barrier and Pat came out to repair and remove damage to the tire wheel well, bumper and other parts that came loose. Found RVA mobile auto repair doing Google search and good to know that there is mobile service available even to do car body repairs damage along with auto repairs. Saved me time and money from going to a body shop with convenience of coming to the home. Will use for the future for oil changes etc for the convenience of not having to wait at a shop.

** IF NEGATIVE STARS WERE AN OPTION **. I would NEVER recommend this guy to anyone. He was supposed to show up the next day to replace leaky power steering lines, but never showed. Called and texted him several times to confirm appointment. Ghosted my calls and text messages for days. Needless to say I took my vehicle elsewhere to get the work done that he was supposed to do. This is piss poor for someone who claims to be running a business. I hope the money I paid for the service fee goes a long way, because with practices like this karma will be back real soon.

RVA Mobile Auto Repair deserves five stars and then some! The owner, Pat, came through for me in a real time of need, and I couldn’t be more grateful. He was incredibly professional, time-efficient, pleasant, and very cost-effective — which means so much in today’s economy. He did an amazing job with my son’s vehicle, and his quality of work truly speaks for itself. Thank you so much, Pat! If you ever find yourself needing any repairs — big or small — do yourself a favor and give him a call. He’s my mechanic from here on out!

I highly recommend RVA Mobile Auto Repair! They are very professional and efficient. I needed my brake pads and rotors replaced, so I gave them a call and they came out within a couple hours. They had my brakes and rotors installed in about 30 minutes and also charged a reasonable price, especially considering the convenience. I will definitely contact them for any repair needs going forward!

I contacted RVA Mobile Auto Repair to take a look at a few issues with my son's car. Pat came out promptly today and handled the issues with my son's brakes and gave an oil change as well. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and gave us an estimate. Within just an hour, my son's vehicle was back on the road. I appreciated Pat's expertise and he did not overcharge us. We will definitely use his services again.
